Soluciones Barriales Participativas: Caso de Estudio Barrio Chinguilanchi, ubicado en la Parroquia El Valle del Cantón Loja, Provincia de Loja, Periodo 2023

The curricular integration work focused on the analysis of the Case Study of the Chinguilanchi Neighborhood, located in the El Valle Parish of the Loja Canton, Loja Province, during the year 2023. The main objective was to contribute to society by constructing effective solutions, applying citizen participation mechanisms adapted to the specific reality of the neighborhood. To this end, specific objectives were established, including collaboration with the neighborhood board in evaluating the main issues, conducting training on citizen participation to strengthen neighborhood leadership, and assisting in the creation of spaces for residents of Chinguilanchi to actively engage with local authorities, aiming to address citizens' demands. Through a participatory approach, a process of identifying and analyzing the neighborhood's problems was carried out, highlighting road maintenance as a priority need. Subsequently, training programs were conducted for community leaders and residents to empower them and equip them to participate in decision-making processes. Additionally, spaces for dialogue and collaboration between the community and local authorities were encouraged, enabling residents to engage and contribute more in seeking solutions to their needs. In summary, this curricular integration study emphasizes citizen participation as a crucial component for addressing local issues and promoting community development. The research aimed to respond to the needs and realities of the Chinguilanchi Neighborhood through collaboration and community empowerment.
