সংক্ষিপ্ত:The music players development of skills is enhanced through the interpretation of repertoires that allows them expanding the technique that is applied at the time of study; in fact, it is necessary to have knowledge of the musical work to be interpreted, as it is in terms of themes and structure of the time when the musical work occurs, and the historical context in which it takes place, in order to make a detailed and historically well-known interpretation. The purpose of this research work was to recognize the technical resources of partita No. 2 in C minor by Johann Sebastian Bach and how they contribute to the development of piano skills. In addition, the time in which the musical work took place was contextualized, the author's life was investigated and a general analysis of the partita was carried out. For the promotion of this objective, the scientific, analytical, historical and hermeneutical methods were used, which contributed to the theoretical development and the correct understanding of the research sources in ordert to validate the information that has been reflected in the concrete theoretical framework. The research process consisted of contextualizing the Baroque age and the author of the musical work of interest for study. For the development and support of the alternative proposal, the teachers’ and students’ surveys were used as a reference which were carried out at Colegio de Artes Salvador Bustamante Celi, Conservatorio de Música Salvador Bustamante Celi and Universidad Nacional de Loja, in this way it was possible to determine the knowledge of the existing resources in the musical works, although the professors affirm to provide a repertoire of Johann Sebastian Bach and claim to have knowledge of the existing technical resources in the musical works, a big percentage of the the students unaware the subject. The surveys were carried out through multiple choice questions and were applied to 10 professors and 10 students from the aforementioned institutions. It is concluded that, although the professors of the musical training institutions of the city of Loja offer within the repertoire of their students musical works by Johann Sebastian Bach, assume greater emphasis on promoting the technical resources they possess at the same time how it promotes the technical development of piano students. Teachers of the aforementioned musical teaching institutions are recommended to use this research material to enhance the musical development of piano students, in the same way, students are recommended to use the developed material to carry out a comprehensive study of the work studied.
