Propuesta de mejoramiento para la producción de cultivos de ciclo corto en el barrio el tablero, parroquia san José De Minas, Cantón Quito

This research work was made by the Board in the neighborhood of the parish of San Jose de Minas in the province of Pichincha, in fincass that are dedicated entirely to agricultural production. The objectives carried out were aimed at making a diagnosis of agricultural production with which the current process conducted for the production of short-cycle crops was determined, profitability thereof, which helped us to raise a proposal for improvement for the production of short-cycle crops and share the results with the producers involved. The determination of the production process of crops made based on surveys and interviews technological aspects of crop production set out in the Board area, of those with accounting records were identified, files were reviewed for calculating investment , revenue and profitability, to finally make a proposal to improve taking into consideration oriented technology good agricultural practices. The variables analyzed were: productive analysis of crops per hectare production level and profitability of short-cycle crops and improvement proposal As a result we have the diagnosis determines that the cultivation of beans, has an output of 10 q / ha, Tree Tomato 190 q / ha, Zapallo than 300 units / ha, Vetch is obtained with 8 q / ha , Babaco with 1,500 units / ha. and corn producing 120 q / ha. The average investment for the production of crops is of $ 23.834,00 inputs being the costliest $ 15,712.25 representing 65.92% of operating expenses, followed by $ 4.670,00 cultural practices mean 19 , 59% of investment and administrative expenses are 1.05%. The income obtained from the sale of products grown in the neighborhood of the Board are $ 27.280,00 being the Corn $ 9,000, tamarillo with $ 7.980,00 cultivation generates more income on farms, followed by the beans and squash with $ 6,000.00, the babaco with $ 2.700,00, vetch is the product that generates less income with only $ 1,600.00. The average benefit per hectare is $ 1385.00 is $ 3446.00, the cost benefit ratio of 1.14 while the return is 11.44%. The proposal determines aimed at improving agricultural and economic production of the farms in the neighborhood The Board strategy, vision, mission, projects with their respective activities to solve problems arising verified. It is concluded that, through the implementation of the proposed projects an average gross income of $ 1.591,67 USD / ha, with a return of 164.51%, a B / C of 1.65, which indicates that it will a return of $ 0.65 for every dollar invested. As a recommendation, the producers of the district board should direct their efforts to the administrative area and choose to ration the use of resources by applying agricultural planning determined by BPA
