Shrnutí:This research aims to determine the influence of managerial leadership in the institutional climate and academic development of Section Science Technology Institute "Daniel Alvarez Burnet", 2011-2012. Methodological procedure was used, descriptive and explanatory. The survey was structured questionnaires to 36 teachers, 266 students, and interviews with seven managers. The type of leadership used by institutional managers does influence institutional climate and academic development because: teachers and students believe that communication practices of its directors do not contribute to teamwork, show a little motivation and commitment necessary as well as conflict resolution does nothing to improve the institutional environment, the management skills do not allow the fulfillment of corporate goals, the limited administrative training of managers, not optimize the performance of the managers themselves as teachers; finally assessment practice processes does not contribute to improving the quality and service offered by the Institute. It is proposed to motivate teachers and authorities for a management team, integrating the "Model of Transformational Leadership Communication Management with management to be implemented with the Technological Institute" Daniel Alvarez Burner ". With regard to key terms were estimated as follows: Educational Management, Communication Management Model, Transformational Leadership and Executive Management Team.
