LINEAMIENTOS ALTERNATIVOS. Se formuló un objetivo general para la presente investigación: “Dar a conocer la importancia de la utilización del Material Didáctico en el Aprendizaje de niños y niñas de Inicial 2, del Centro Particular "San Mateo" de la ciudad de Riobamba. Período lectivo 2013- 2014. Los métodos utilizados fueron el Científico, el Inductivo, el Analítico, el Descriptivo y el Modelo Estadístico. La información fue obtenida a través de una encuesta aplicada a las maestraspara determinar la incidencia de los MaterialesDidácticos en el aprendizaje y una Guía de observación a niñas y niños; para evaluar las principales destrezas relacionadas con los ámbitos de aprendizaje. De la aplicación de la encuesta se determinóque el 100% de las maestras siempre utilizan Materiales Didácticos en su jornada diaria de trabajo. Los Materiales Didácticos son los medios por el cual el niño experimenta y crea su aprendizaje es por estos que los maestros desarrollan la manipulación de objetos que utilizan en diferentes clases tomando en cuenta métodos y técnicas diferentes.
