Додати тег | Резюме: | In the city of Puyo, parish Tarqui, there Chichico micro river basin where activities of agriculture, human settlement on the banks will be developed, this has a number of impacts on the environment, altering the quality of water resources, loss of aquatic biodiversity, disease for people who use this resource for home use, to propose a solution to this problem, the following research topic arises entitled "Characterization of aquatic biota to determine the quality and design of river Chichico of an Environmental Management Plan in the Tarqui parish ", for which the following objectives, determine the procedure for sampling and identification of macroinvertebrates, evaluating the physical and chemical quality of the river water Chichico and propose a management plan environmental, applying the following methodology, macroinvertebrate sampling network using Surber, determining water quality by applying the calculation of EPT index (Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera and Trichoptera) for comparison of water quality analysis was performed physical - chemical , getting the results of sampling conducted in Chichico river, and 266 specimens over 5 orders and 20 families according to the EFA Index atmosphere in which families of macroinvertebrates found in the River Chichico and parameters are developed outside identified standard of physical - chemical analysis are BOD 16 mg / l, the OD with an average of 5.67 mg / l, stating that Chichico river water is not suitable for the survival and development of macroinvertebrates and as for human and domestic consumption of surrounding communities, for which an Environmental Management Plan which contains six programs to control and mitigate the impacts on existing river Chichico proposed. |
