Тойм:Cardiovascular disease is a common cause of morbidity and mortality in adulthood and is usually related to Lipid profile disturbances and hypertension. Worldwide cardiovascular diseases account for 48 % of deaths annually. While in Latin America over 80 % of deaths are caused by these diseases. In our country , according to the National Institute of Statistics and Census in 2010 , the death rate from these diseases is 25 %, representing a statistically high, so above the present study was conducted in the province of Zamora Chinchipe where these diseases are among the ten leading causes of death . With the objectives to determine the lipid profile and its relation to the values of the Creatine Kinase ( MB ) as an indicator of cardiovascular disease risk in patients presenting to the Hospital Julius Doepfner . The study was descriptive cross-sectional cohort whose sample consisted of 40 individuals who met the inclusion criteria. We used enzymatic colorimetric technique for the determination immunoinhibition Lipid Profile and Creatine Kinase (MB) , reaching the following conclusions : A significant percentage of the study population presented Lipid profile inappropriate values while values of Creatine Kinase MB are within reference ranges , Lipid profile disturbances occur more frequently in women aged 51-60 years. Keywords: Lipid profile, Creatine Kinase, Cardiovascular Diseases, hyperlipidemia.
