| Gaia: | The research that deals with innovative didactic material to improve academic performance in the students of the first year of Technical Baccalaureate Educational Unit Eloy Alfaro, Cariamanga, for which we worked with the following general objective: To determine innovative didactic material (ICT) to improve academic performance in students of the first year of Technical Baccalaureate; the same that allowed me to know if the teacher uses innovative didactic material to improve academic performance; before which we worked with the following methods; scientific, observational, descriptive, deductive, analytical, synthetic, inductive and statistical, all these methods were used to collect scientific information to subsequently have a criterion of how the teacher is working in terms of teaching materials as a strategy to improve academic performance in the students of the first year of high school; also worked with 38 students and 13 teachers totaling a population of 51 human talents, with the information acquired helped me to draw conclusions and recommendations. It is concluded that the use of gamification strategies as a learning tool will allow the development of skills to teach and reinforce problem-solving, collaboration, and communication since it plays an important role in motivating the student through a wide range of game mechanisms to encourage students to participate and, above all, to build their learning not only academically but also by giving a personal meaning to what they learn. Likewise, teachers must improve their educational actions in terms of the implementation of gamified strategies that lead students to be interested in learning, and thus teaching is not improvised or traditional. |
