La representación del personaje femenino en la obra y amarle pude… de Alicia Yánez Cossío

The research work entitled: THE REPRESENTATION OF THE FEMALE CHARACTER IN THE PLAY “Y AMARLE PUDE” ... DE Alicia Yanez Cossio, has had as general objective: to analyze the representation of the female character in the play “Y AMARLE PUDE” ... by Alicia Yanez Cossio. The methods used for the preparation of this research work were: scientific, historical, analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive method, and the hermeneutical method it is the fundamental or specific method in the analysis of this literary work, As well as also the bibliographical technique was applied. From the results of the literary analysis from Y AMARLE PUDE…... it is evident that the female character is involved in a number of social problems of that time, showing women with rebellious soul, protestant, determined, at the same time, docile and suffered in a town immersed in religious ideology. It is concluded that in the work by Yanez there are a variety of features from women of the nineteenth century, the management of social, literary, axiological areas and especially religious that used in Y AMARLE PUDE... it makes the narrative from the author as a historical dye, so it is recommended to investigate the history of women at this time, to understand the problems that were happening to the female gender.
