The methodological design was descriptive, the universe of research were 1,467 students of the College of Bachelor "Zoila Ugarte de Landivar", the sample were students in four parallel Tenth year of basic general education to the survey technique was applied; plus eight authorities interview and 4 teachers in the area of Aesthetic Culture applied. The proposal was the Workshop and Ecuadorian Traditional Music Festival, aimed at students on campus. He finally concluded that most young people do not know the traditional Ecuadorian music, as they have no interest in activities to meet, for which it is necessary to recommend that the traditional music of Ecuador is heard on campus as recreational music activities campus social and ceremonies; Workshops that folk music and history of our music, composers and singers, should be part of the annual program of the Department of Music Education in all schools. |
