Description
Summary:The modern times demand the use of modern technologies which base their operation on electricity, internal combustion engines, that in some instances, are manufactured with technologies called green that are friendly to the use of the same energy or mechanisms that regulate emissions of CO2 to the environment; likewise, humanity and development require energy usage in an increasingly aggressive way is for that reason that the nature is on the edge of the collapse in terms of what refers to the sustainability of natural resources that are necessary for generating the energies that development requires. Taking into consideration that natural resources are not inexhaustible, it is necessary to pose the sustainability of both the exploitation of these resources and methods to be applied in order for them to be exploited in a rational way and in accordance with the stipulated in the laws and regulations dictated by the Ecuadorian legislation on this matter. The present research is conducted with the aim of motivating on one hand the rational exploitation of non-renewable natural resources and on the other hand to introduce feasible and sustainable alternatives so that the 3D seismic exploration works will be developed in response to the dictates of The Constitution, Laws, Decrees and other legislation which on environmental matters exist in the Ecuadorian territory. In the present investigation aspects inherent to the same development of 3D seismic exploration works are addressed, including: the topography, drilling, seismic data the registration and restoration of seismic lines; which are analyzed from the geological and environmental aspects; each one of the issues addressed in the investigation are the product of the field experience in each one of the materials dealt with, supported by samplings, observations, and off-road courses performed during the execution of the 3D seismic exploration project Palanda Yuca Sur. The water and soil samplings were performed after culminating the exploration work, with the purpose of determining the degree of contamination that would be found present. In terms referred to the security and occupational health was performed the sampling and analysis of the incidence of the noise in people, due to it being the factor that most affects as regards to the health. The present investigation is found supported by a series of maps where there are determined aspects such as the location of the project in the Province, the Canton and the Parish to which the survey area belongs, location of sampling is carried out, geological maps, topographical maps, etc., which were elaborated with the purpose of supporting the comprehension and in the dimension of the works and their influence on both the territory to which they belong as the environment. It has been determined that the drilling phase is the one that has the greatest negative impact within the execution of the seismic exploration projects. It is in this phase where they must have suitably qualified staff and trained for the execution of the works and of this form to cause the least impact on both at the higher layers of the land like the superficial drainage and other parameters referred to within their respective environmental management plans. On the other hand it was determined that the development of seismic exploration projects is possible when dealing responsibly with the environment as a governmental and enterprise policy.
