| Streszczenie: | The teaching of poetry within the curriculum is tied to a vertical process where teachers often limit themselves to explore this lyrical genre more internally, either due to a lack of knowledge or a perception that it is not a relevant content. Similarly, rap has been a victim of various prejudices labeling it as a misogynistic genre; however, this distorted perspective does not fully define rap. On the other hand, conscious rap advocates for the struggle of minorities against social injustices and aims to generate a critical society. Therefore, this study unified these two elements to determine the didactic possibilities of conscious rap in poetry writing for second-year baccalaureate students. The methodological process was divided into four phases: design of the didactic sequence focused on using conscious rap for poetic writing, diagnostic test, application of the didactic sequence, and final evaluation. The results showed that the use of rap as a mediation tool for developing poetic writing influences the conception and writing of students, as they can recognize and use different elements of poetry in their writings. Conscious rap proves to be a viable tool for learning various poetic aspects, and young people are interested in learning through this modality, as it is a genre with which they are familiar with. |
