Summary:Currently, the linkage of society is very important in the teaching-learning process, because it allows both teachers and students to build knowledge based on the experiences of the context in which they live, which is why the need arises to strengthen and improve the academic performance of students. This work seeks to integrate the school and the community in a participatory manner, linking the activities that these two important groups of society will contribute. This research of quantitative type with transversal design, for which 33 students and 5 teachers of the rural schools of the Vicentino parish participated, the process to achieve the objectives is summarized in the first place in acquiring information of the two variables of study in different sources of consultation, to achieve to build the necessary theoretical support for the project, then based on different instruments of data collection it was possible to establish strategies of linkage with the community in the participatory learning of the students and finally we proceeded to develop the proposal and its application in the teaching-learning process, In this way, the analytical-synthetic and inductive method was applied as support, this because the work starts from a problem, in addition, for data collection the survey technique was applied with the questionnaire instrument that allows identifying the requirements of students, teachers and the community, for the development of integrative activities, finally it can be concluded that this work implements linkage strategies to take advantage of the resources that exist in the environment, which can contribute to the teaching-learning process of children in rural schools in the parish of Vicentino.
