| Resumo: | The objective of this degree work is to design and build the electrical system as well as the instrumentation panel of an electric motorcycle in order to contribute to the increase of electromobility in the city of Loja. In order to have the necessary knowledge for the construction and implementation of this project, a review of the history of electric vehicles was made considering the benefits of their implementation, the parts that make up an electric motorcycle, the physical phenomena on which they base their operation, the types of lights and headlights that exist in the environment and the basic fundamentals of programming, In relation to the design of the electrical circuit, the necessary calculations were made for the cable section and protection elements of the system, and by means of the Expert Choise software it was determined that the optimal option for the lighting in the electric motorcycle were LED lights, since they had better performance, useful life and lower current consumption. In addition, the Proteus software was used to simulate the circuit to corroborate its correct operation and proceed with its construction. As for the programming of the Nextion screen, software such as "MikroBasic PRO for PIC" and "LabVIEW" were used to obtain the data frame and in this way, by means of Arduino, the necessary conditions were programmed so that all relevant information could be seen on the instrument panel. The entire electrical system and the instrumentation panel were set up in a mock-up as a final step to confirm its optimal operation.
