Summary:The present research work entitled: “THE VOCABULARY TECHNIQUES AND THE ENGLISH TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS OF STUDENTS OF 3RD YEAR OF BACHILLERATO, AT “UNIDAD EDUCATIVA ANEXA A LA UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE LOJA” OF LOJA CITY, ACADEMIC YEAR 2013-2014” has been made with the purpose of determining how vocabulary techniques influences the English teaching learning process. In order to undertake this research, the scientific method was used to find the facts about the researched object through a contrast between theory and reality. The survey technique was selected for gathering the information, and it was applied to teachers and students of the researched institution. The main conclusions were that the teachers aren’t applying sufficient up-dated techniques in the English teaching-learning process of the students of 3rd year of bachillerato. Key words: vocabulary techniques, up-dated techniques, English teaching-learning process.
