| Summary: | This research is part of a study conducted at the Ecovida Association, where highlights the limited participation of partners for the advancement of local development association agroecological producers Ecovida parish valley canton and province of Loja. With the objectives the current situation of the association, where their limited participation and its impact on development and institutional advancement is displayed is determined. The main findings from field research shows that community participation is not ideal although they have developed different activities has not been achieved improved participation because partners and community members do not participate actively in the different activities of the association. Its design was pre-experimental, cross-sectional, explanatory character and field; scientific methods, descriptive method, analytical method, inductive method, deductive method and the method of self-employed community development. To carry out this investigation, I encompassed fieldwork, with the support of a broad theoretical and scientific content which allowed support and explain categories like community participation, social work at the community level, profiles and roles of social worker in organization and organizing social work, community development, organizational development, agro-ecological production-definition of association and socio-economic development. To tell of respondents could clearly see that most have not participated in training. To strengthen local community development; therefore they indicate that the main strategies that could improve the participation of the partners would put into practice the proposed proposal. |
