| 要約: | The risk of falls from patients is defined as increased capacity for falls that can cause physical damage. Studies conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggest that between 2 and 10% of hospitalized patients will fall during their hospital stay. The research was carried out at the Isidro Ayora General Hospital of the City of Loja, whose objective was: To establish the risk factors associated with falls in hospitalized users. The type of study of the research work is quantitative and descriptive. The instrument that was applied was the Observation guide. 148 studios participated in the study. The risk factors found are: absence of handrails on the walls, absence of call ring and non-slip floor; and difficulty walking normally. In conclusion, the most frequent intrinsic risk factors were: difficulty walking normally and lack of collaboration for the user to perform his / her activities. While the extrinsic risk factors 1 represented the absence of handrails on the walls, as well as the absence of call ring and non-slip floor.
