| Zusammenfassung: | The present study as a prerequisite for graduation, has the general objective to know the feasibility of setting up a service company catering for diabetic patients in the parish of Chillogallo the metropolitan district of Quito, in order to contribute to food and health of people with this disease. For its development we have used different methods such as the Analytical and descriptive statistical techniques such as bibliographic, observation, survey and interview. The study began with the training plans for the creation of a service company caterers for patients with diabetes in the parish of Chillogallo the Metropolitan District of Quito, where there is unmet demand in the market for this type was identified service, which was 243 576 prodcutos / catering services, on market segmentation, Market Research announced the acceptance of potential customers for this new company. In the literal a) which is the study of detailed market research is about the same through sources like interviews and surveys which showed that there is no offer for this market need identified health as a social problem, determining demand for this problem is potentially high, the segment unsatisfied market is 65 448 inhabitants taking into account the total population of the parish of Chillogallo and population growth rate of 22%, also the percentage of diabetics in the country is taken by the Ministry Public Health which corresponds to 5.5% .people suffering from diabetes without age limits.
