Riassunto:The following research work aims as an objective the analysis of the usage of selection criteria of reliable sources of digital information, in tenth year of Higher Basic General Education. It has a qualitative approach, of exploratory nature. It was used the semi-structured interview, applied to 5 students and the teacher of Language and Literature of the school. Besides, it was applied the observation with a qualitative assessment scale. The main outcome shows that both, teachers and students agree that there are deficiencies in the matter of selection of reliable sources and they are related to issues such as lack of training, lack of resources and lack of interdisciplinary relationship among school subjects. As a conclusion, there is low knowledge about selection criteria of reliable digital sources during the teaching-learning process in the area of Language and Literature. Therefore, it is essential to teach the characteristics, classification and implementation of selection criteria at the moment of choosing digital sources, for the foundation of academic works, since early ages, and thus, gradually develop research skills in profit of their formation and performance.
