Zusammenfassung:This research was developed in "Bernardo Valdivieso" Millennium High School, it is directed on the application of constructivist and didactic strategies and their incidence in the significant learning. That is why the application of adequate strategic methods, allows the student to develop concentration, putting all creative and mental functions into action. Therefore, there is no established learning goal for students, more important than learning and understanding, that is, acquiring knowledge in a better way. Based on the aforementioned, the general objective is to promote the achievement of significant learning in students through the use of constructivist methodological strategies that allow improving the teaching and learning process, in the ninth year of EGBS of "Bernardo Valdivieso” Millennium High School, during 2021-2022 school period. Participatory Action Research (PAR) was used as a methodology. Similarly, depending on the temporal location, it is a cross sectional research; regarding the nature of the objectives and the level of knowledge, it is descriptive. Through the application of an educational intervention proposal, together with the elaboration of micro curricular plans (lesson plans) and the use of different didactic resources, active learning was generated in the students. In reference to the results obtained from this research, it was possible to determine that the innovation and the use of various methodological strategies allowed a strengthening in the teaching and learning process. Thus, through constructivist strategies such as image analysis, making word searches, graphic organizers, concept maps, among others, they allowed students to remain active, so, at the moment of applying the learning evaluation, the students got better grades, compared to the previous partial, in other words, they generated a higher academic performance.
