Evaluación de tres protocolos de sincronización de celo para lATF mediante la utilización del dispositivo intravaginal bovino (DIB), en vacas mestizas Holstein en la Hacienda La Cruz sector Salapa, provincia de Loja

In the Farm La Cruz located in Salapa of Loja canton, Province of Loja, there were evaluated three protocols synchronization of heat for IATF through the usage of DIB® (0,5g) in crossbreed Holstein cows, in front of a witness group, from the mentioned cows, it was waited the return to the postpartum heat in a natural way, the experimental treatments were Ta: Implant of P4 + estradiol benzoate + PG2α + eCG + GnRH; Tb: Implant of P4 + estradiol benzoate + PG2α + estradiol benzoate; Tc: Implant of P4 + estradiol benzoate + PG2α + GnRH, and the control treatment (postpartum natural heat detection and IA), for which there was employed a sample of 24 cows, 6 for each treatment distributed in homogenous groups and each animal represented an experimental unit. The obtained results were subjected to an analysis of variance through the Duncan test (˂0,05 y ˂0,01), determining thus the hormonal protocols show better features related to reproductive efficiency than the witness group that presented natural heats, reducing for that reason the return intervals to the heat and interval between birth and increasing the percentages of conception in front of the control group. Of the three evaluated protocols, in what belongs to the conception rate the Tb is superior to the rest of treatments with a 50% of conception, the Ta with a 33% the Tc and witness group with a 17% of pregnancy, for what it is recommended to work for the synchronization of heat e IATF in crossbreed Holstein cows in our environment with the Tb.
