Resumo:The employment integration of individuals over the age of 50 faces significant challenges despite their extensive experience, leading to discrimination and the violation of workers' rights. This study analyzed the causes and effects of this issue with the aim of proposing solutions and policies to promote their labor inclusion. It is highlighted that, despite the need for a diverse workforce in terms of age, age discrimination and negative stereotypes persist, hindering the participation of older individuals in the job market. With this context, the general objective was to conduct a doctrinal and legal study regarding the lack of labor inclusion of people over 50 years of age in private entities, which leads to rights violations. The study successfully verified the general objective and specific goals, which identified the causes and effects of the lack of inclusion of individuals over 50 in private companies. It determined the violation of rights due to the lack of labor inclusion for individuals aged 50 and above. Based on the conclusions and recommendations, the study proposes a reform to regulate their inclusion. An analytical, descriptive, and exploratory method with a mixed approach was employed, utilizing surveys and interviews. These methods established that the lack of labor inclusion for people over 50 years old is a significant issue that negatively impacts their quality of life, causing social isolation, economic difficulties, and the violation of rights. It is essential to promote policies and programs that encourage the labor inclusion of this demographic, recognizing their ability and contribution to the workforce.
