Riassunto:This degree work consists of designing a biodigester to generate biogas in order to supply an electric generator, which will produce electricity for the Headquarters of the Administrative Board of Potable Water and Regional Sanitation of Pedregal, Saguaynuma and Calera Bajo, located in the El Pedregal neighborhood of the Malacatos Parish; This system is presented as an alternative to renewable energy, since it can be produced from the organic waste obtained from the raising of animals that exist in the sector. Considering the topographical, climatological and economic conditions, a continuous-flow tubular or sausage-type biodigester was selected and designed; The selected material is linear low-density polyethylene geomembrane, smoke black color, with a thickness of 0.75 mm or 750 microns. The biodigester will work with an average temperature of 20 ºC, with a retention time of 40 days. Cattle manure will be used as organic matter. The biodigester has a length of 8.00 m, the cross section has a circumference of 4.00 m and a diameter of 1.28 m, the total volume of the biodigester is 10.32 m3. The system will have the input and output boxes that are connected at the ends of the biodigester; a gas holder to store the biogas, it will have a length of 1.90 m and a diameter of 1.00 m; the conduction pipe is 3/4” PVC; In addition, all the necessary accessories for conducting the biogas from the biodigester towards the electric generator have been considered. A tubular biodigester was selected for its ease and lower construction cost, compared to other types of biodigesters. The selected electric generator is from the GRETECH brand, model JL654173, which has a nominal power of 5.2 kW and requires 1.30 m3 of biogas to generate 3.70 kW-h.
