Summary:This thesis entitled " GRAFO PLASTICS TECHNIQUES AND THEIR RELATION TO THE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT OF FIRST DEGREE BASIC GENERAL EDUCATION CHILDREN UNDERSTANDING AND ARTISTIC EXPRESSION " PORTOVIEJO " SCHOOL CARIAMANGA CITY, CALVAS CANTON , LECTIVO PERIOD 2013 - 2014 " . ALTERNATIVE GUIDELINES. It Is structured and developed in accordance with the Rules of Academic Board of the National University of Loja. The general objetive skills was to : Apply the visual graph techniques in the development of skills comprehension and artistic expression of children in First Year Basic General Education " Portoviejo " School Cariamanga City , Calvas Canton , school period 2013-2014 . The methods used for the preparation of this research work were: Scientific, Logical, Analytic - Synthetic, Inductive- Deductive and Statistical Model that served them help effectively achieve the proposed goal. The techniques and instrument used were: Survey applied to teachers at the school to determine the use of visual techniques graph and their relationship to the development of comprehension skills and artistic expression of in first grade general basic Education children Basic " Portoviejo " school Cariamanga city, Calvas canton. And a Guide Watching applied to children who attend daily to First Grade ( school) of the General Basic Education " Portoviejo " School in the city of Cariamanga to assess comprehension skills and artistic expression From basic teachers survey concluded that: 100% of teachers frequently used types of Graph - plastic : bucking , wrinkled, folded , shaped , torn, snipped , chopped , and punching , 50 % finger paint , armed, interlaced , rainfall, sgraffito According to the results of the observation guide the following result was obtained : 56% of investigates boys and girls have Skills development Comprehension and Artistic Expression Very Satisfactory , 39% Satisfactory and 5% Unsatisfactory.
