The general objective was: To determine how this affects the overcrowdind and it is impact on basic education first year children learning. The methods used for the preparation of this research work were: Scientist, Inductive- Deductive, Descriptive, Analytic, Synthetic, Statistical Model; the techniques used were: teacher‟s survey to identify whether there is school overcrowding, Basic Function test to assess learning of children. Application of the school to teacher‟s survey of Basic Education School First Degree Diez de Agosto in the City of Quito is concluded that 67% expressed that the classroom is 50m, 33% 40 m. 67% expressed having 40-50 students per class, 33% 30-40 students per class. 100 % say if it affects school overcrowding in student learning. 100 % say touching the approaches vary with numbers of students group. 67% expressed that the school classroom as measured by 1.25 m, 1.50 m 33%. 100% expresses the dynamic group management is handled by school overpopulations working in teams. 100 % say that has not been able to improve the teaching-learning process with school overpopulations. 100% stated that it considers important to be trained with new methodological strategies that change the dynamic management group. From the results of the Test of Basic Functions to Children First Degree Basic Education School Fiscal Diez de Agosto in the City of Quito concludes: 33% if they reach level of learning in the basics functions and 67% no.
