Summary:The present study was carried out to know the pharmacological schemes used in the immediate postoperative pain management after laparoscopic cholecystectomy in General Manuel Ygnacio Monteros hospital patients located in Loja city. The study was descriptive, quantitative retrospective from April 2015 to April 2017. The general objective was: to know the patients’ characteristics regarding to their genre, age group, pharmacological schemes used and their efficacy obtaining as results that 101 patients out of a total of 214 patients who underwent Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy received the scheme: Tramadolor-Paracetamol at a dose of 100-1000 milligrams administered intravenously, of which 39.61% of them were male and 60.39% were female. A 28.04% of the total of patients undergoing such surgery received the Tramadol-Diclofenac scheme at doses of 100-75 milligrams intravenously, of which 45% were male and 55% were female. Finally, 24.77% of all patients received the Tramadol-Ketorolac scheme, at doses of 100-60 mg intravenously, of which 45 28% corresponded to the male sex and 54.72% to the female sex.
