Ամփոփում:The present research work refers to the difficulties presented by people with Intellectual Disability in domestic activities, such as: tasks in personal hygiene, clothing, telephone use, shopping, food preparation, housekeeping, laundry among others, as a general objective was raised: Develop skills and abilities in daily life activities for the autonomy of people with Intellectual Disability who attend the Centro Diurno for integral development for people with disabilities Mies-Loja. In order to sustain the theoreticalscientific framework, subjects were considered according to their variables, and the instruments used were: teacher interview, observation guide and ecological functional ability test, and survey. A plan of activities for daily life was designed, based on the theory of significant learning, qualitative type and participatory action, it is concluded that the activities of daily life were of support for the achievement of autonomy in most areas; thus validating the intervention plan. It is recommended that teachers include in their planning the application of activities of daily living in order to improve their autonomy.
