| סיכום: | The present study had as an objective to evaluate and determine the psychomotor development of preschool children who attend to the Buen Vivir Children 's Center in Yaguarcuna neighborhood of the City of Loja. Specifically, it was proposed to determine if the psychomotor development of the children evaluated is appropriate for their age, and to establish the main psychomotor difficulties observed in preschool children, which is descriptive and carried out in 46 boys and girls attending that center, for the collection of information psychomotor development was evaluated through the application of the Denver test. The 85% of boys and girls obtained normal results, 13% were classified as a doubtful test and 2% with abnormal evaluation, the boys and girls with dubious and abnormal results we obtained the following data 57% presented risk in the fine-adaptive area, 29% show risk in the social personal area and 14% have risk in the motor area. So, It is concluded that in general we can observe that psychomotor development is normal and adequate in the aforementioned age groups, since in all areas that comprise the Denver test, the majority of boys and girls gave normal results, approving successfully the test. With the results obtained, it was possible to recommend Strengthen the continuing education programs to the health personal, by the Ministry of Public Health and the Coordinating Ministry of Social Development to provide better advice and assistance to children who present difficulties in their psychomotor development as well as the educators of the Buen Vivir Children's Center of the Yaguarcuna neighborhood, have frequent trainings in order that the social service they provide be the best quality and thus benefit the children.
