| Sumari: | In this research paper called: food habits and its impact on school performance in children of school of first degree of general basic education school "Filomena Mora of Carrión" city of Loja, parish the Valle. Lectivo period 2014 - 2015. Alternative guidelines. The central problem is: how eating habits affect school performance in children of school first grade basic education? This research has the general objective: To determine the incidence of Eating Habits in School Performance children High School First Grade General Education Basic of "Filomena Mora de Carrión" School of the City of Loja, Parish the Valle. The methods and techniques used for data collection and data analysis were: the scientific, deductive, inductive, synthetic analytical and statistical model method, the same that were used to explain and describe the incidence of Eating Habits in Educational Achievement. As techniques were applied: a survey of parents to determine dietary habits that have children in each household; Test and Lorenzo Filho, in order to assess the Educational Achievement of school children in first grade of General Basic Education "Filomena Mora de Carrión" School of the city of Loja. According to the results of the survey of teachers is determined that 100% of parents surveyed indicated that the types of foods consumed by children during the day are fruits, meats and sausages; the 94% vegetables; the vegetables 92%, 91% the seafood; 40% and fast foods. Having a balanced diet is success for children with development and optimum performance. The 40% of children have answers from twelve to sixteen, equivalent to Satisfactory, indicating that boys and girls learn reading and writing in an academic year normally. 36% of children, with a score of eleven or less learn to read and write with difficulty. You will need special assistance equivalent to Unsatisfactory. The 23% of boys and girls got answers researched by 7 or more, equivalent to Very Satisfactory, meaning that they learn reading and writing in a semester without difficulty; and 2% needs a lot of special care and with lots of help from parents. |
