Zusammenfassung:During the last years a worldwide the prostate abnormalities have become increasingly important, especially being prostatic hypertrophy, this is one of the major diseases that affect the elderly men. This research had as its theme "Levels of PSA test and its Relationship with benign prostatic hyperplasia in adults over 40 years in the Modern Clinic in 2015" taking as specific objectives set levels of PSA test Serum, identify the prevalence of benign prostatic hypertrophy by age group, Relate stage of benign prostatic hypertrophy with levels of PSA test Serum in adults over 40 years in the Modern Clinic in the period January-December 2015, with the sample of 82 people who met criteria for inclusion and exclusion, the information like age, diagnosis, clinical symptoms, data from laboratory tests and imaging were collected from medical records using sheets data collection was obtained as a result that patients 60 to 69 years had a marked prevalence of benign prostatic hypertrophy total of 34 people, with an alteration of PSA total of 11 people, PSA Free 20 persons, coefficient Free PSA / Total PSA of 15 and higher prevalence of prostatic hypertrophy in Stage IV of 35 people with an altered PSA 8 of them Keywords: benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatic antigen, stage, age.
