| סיכום: | This work coffee seedling production was conducted in Mizhquillana community, belonging to the Canton Chaguarpamba Loja Province , in order to assess the pre - germination treatments and types of containers. The main objective is stated: "To establish technological alternatives for obtaining coffee seedlings of high quality Arabica production and improve productivity. "And specific: To determine the influence of four physical and chemical treatments (with parchment or witness, without parchment, hot water and 0.5 % hydrochloric acid for 12 hours) in the seed and its effect on germination; evaluate the development of seedlings of coffee, with the use of two types of containers (polyethylene black sleeves and disposable PET plastic bottles) and disseminate the final results of the research process through the development of educational brochures and conducting a field day . Seed was collected on the farm of Mr. Galo Capa, Chaguarpamba Layer in Canton with a rigorous selection process, ensuring the quality of genetic material, taking into account the characteristics: morphological, age , production, selection was made from the seeds taking into account: size: uniform way: seeds of good size, round, rejecting defective seeds (spiral grain, grain triangle monster grain, small grain and seed brocade or injured), making the test of empty fruits index . The seed processing was made by pulping, fermentation for 24 hours, washed, dried under shade for 7 days, stored was stored in plastic bags polyethylene black color, then were planted and evaluated for seed germination under four treatments (physical and chemical) with parchment (control) without parchment, hot water (90°C for the time of 3 min) and hydrochloric acid 0.5% by 12 hours, the witness with parchment was considered because it is the practice common area producers . The trial was conducted in Mizhquillana community, located in Canton Chaguarpamba, Loja Province, has a mountainous physiography Andean type, subtropical climate, with an average temperature of 18-20°C, with an average cloudiness 70-80 % annual in the rainy months and between 10-20% in the dry months . Sowing was done in March , with the irrigation water. We used 12 treatments with 3 replicates. The amount of seed used coffee was 6 Kg Red Catuai variety experimental units, the area of a block of 4*4 m2 (16m2), with 50% of humus and 50 % sand river. Sample block number 8 plants per sample unit were 200, 400 and by treating the experiment 800 c/u, in total 1600 plants and the total test area (50m2). Substrate preparation was performed, and respective filling and placed the respective sign in accordance with each treatment, and then perform the transplant. During assay development were measured variables; also performed cultural work and phytosanitary controls. With regard to pests and diseases, the damage caused by these were found within economic thresholds . The results of the influence of four treatment germination and seedling evaluation coffee with two types of containers are used the Tukey test at 5% to determine statistical differences. The variables evaluated in the cultivation of coffee were each 15 days: Plant height , number of pairs of leaves, leaf area, stem diameter, root length, present in the coffee plantations which were tabulated, statistically analyzed and presented in figures and tables. % Germination best obtained with the best treatment without scroll 85% germination using polyethylene bags, cases to be a measure of 13x18 cm, because they are higher in % germination and the variable of days to flower at 36 days are the most precocious. Finally, considering that all research defined but loses its importance, was developed brochures, flipcharts and slide with tables of data and research results, which were socialized and disseminated in visits by local producers to experiment and the field day planned specifically for this purpose. |
