Sumari:Nowadays technological tools are of transcendental importance because they allow teachers and students to motivate themselves through the use of ICT. It should be noted that within the various existing tools, Kahoot stands out for its diffusion in the educational field, since it allows innovating the process of evaluation. This research has a quantitative approach with a descriptive scope, in which 42 teachers participated. The main objective is to analyze the use of Kahoot as a tool for formative evaluation applied by teachers at the Bachelor level of the Educational Institution Pio Jaramillo Alvarado, in the 2021-2022 school year. The process for achieving the objectives is synthesized firstly in acquiring information on the study variables that are Kahoot as a formative evaluation tool through the various bibliographic sources for theoretical support based on the inductive and deductive method, in addition, the instrument was structured through a series of questions using the Likert scale that was carried out in order to analyze the use of Kahoot as a formative evaluation tool. Among the relevant results, it is highlighted that Kahoot is occasionally used as a formative evaluation tool by teachers to identify deficiencies in students, improve participation, and in a lower percentage to measure learning progress and provide feedback consolidating their knowledge in the studied topic. Concluding that teachers at the high school level of the educational institution occasionally use Kahoot as a formative evaluation tool, which allows them to create different types of questions, insert images in the questions, which gives a lot of versatility to the format, resulting in a free digital tool and that teachers can use to develop interactive lessons, innovate and motivate the teaching-learning process.
