In this way, the elections become the means by which channel the expectations of the public, who is the end legitimizes the actions taken by the authority, establishing an order or social balance. The different types of democracies, both direct, representative or community, are express manifestations of participation, in which the degree of influence of specific organized group is determined in decision-making in a society, which can be limited in the delegation power, the most common of all, representative democracy. To represent an institution interested persons are presented to society with different work programs or proposals, sponsored, either by a movement or political party, which meets certain specific characteristics, which goes by the name of political ideology. The political ideology of the party or political movement must have a consistent relationship or at least in theory, should have-with the candidate running for election, to be that affinity which ultimately succeed in making the voter take a right choice according to your liking. When that line of political ideology, between the candidate and the political party or movement breaks born approaches studying why certain citizen behaves in one way or another in an election where little interest ideologies, but it focuses on other factors, such as advertising media, the influence of the individual, social, group or institutional ties, compulsory voting, or failing that, what is the cost-benefit involving vote for this or that candidate. In this context, a study on how citizenship is electorally involves analyzing the factors motivating decisions in favor of a particular candidate, is a parallel or study even different from this, and since to determine trends of electoral behavior, assumes existing quantitative data. |
