Resumo:The didactic foundations are essential in the educational process because they help to strengthen the teaching-learning process, such is the case of the pedagogical foundation in which the didactic processes are immersed. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the didactic processes used for the teaching and learning of linear algebra in the Algebra and Functions Block of the third year of unified general high school. This study was developed under an exploratory qualitative approach, for which the documentary review technique was used and the instruments for data collection were: the search log and bibliographic cards. The main results indicate that the most used didactic processes to teach linear algebra are: problem-solving or heuristics and representation. Furthermore, it is concluded that these processes, when they are implemented in this discipline, help students to strengthen their abilities, skills or knowledge.
