Summary:The present investigation approaches the emotional development and its incidence in the learning of the children and girls of the first year of Basic Education of the educational centers "Julio Ordoñez Espinoza" and "José Angel Palacios" of the city of Loja, from the perspective that the human being not only possesses abilities linguistics, but rather it is developed emotionally and based on this dimension it contributes to the process of the learning of the children. The poblation is conformed by 5 teachers parvularias and 81 children the First years old. The used instruments were: infantile emotional test applied to the children and survey to the teachers. As method it was used, the scientist to discover the internal relationships of the topic, their natural and social reality, their causes and effects; the deductive one, determined the investigated specific problem; the hypothetical one allowed to outline the hypotheses like axis vertebrador of the investigation; and, with the inductive one the conclusions. Based on the results you ended up concluding that the teachers require bigger training in administration of infantile test to diagnose the boy the emotional state, of the results of the test he/she settles down that the biggest percentage (56.76%) the understanding is related between parents and children the same one that favors to the emotional development of the children. Training is recommended the teachers, pursuit of the emotional development of the children and to expose the obtained results of the investigation.
