Therefore, three specific objectives were proposed: to carry out a diagnosis of the current situation of adventure tourism in Yangana parish, to propose adventure tourism activities that can be developed in the parish and finally to carry out promotion and dissemination strategies for adventure tourism activities. For the development of the research, the methodology of Marvin Blanco (2014) of the guide for the formulation of tourism development plans in rural territories was applied, specifically phase 2: previous analysis of the territory, geographical-environmental dimension and phase 3: recreational activities; in addition, one joint interview with the president of the parish government and the person in charge of tourism and 3 interviews with travel agencies that offer adventure tourism activities; 6 natural tourist attractions were prioritized through summary sheets of the Ministry of Tourism; in addition one joint interview with the president of the parish and the person in charge of tourism and 3 interviews with travel agencies that offer adventure tourism activities. A talk was held with two owners of the land through which two attractions are accessed, to learn about some activities that have been carried out previously. A SWOT and cross SWOT analysis was carried out to identify the internal and external factors that influence the parish in order to establish the strategic objectives. Surveys were applied to learn about tastes and preferences about the activities, in addition to a bibliographic review and direct observation. Coutin's (2010) methodology was applied to develop tourism promotion strategies for adventure tourism activities in the parish. As a result of the research, two activities were proposed for each attraction, which led to the conclusion that the parish has the necessary potential to offer various adventure tourism activities, establishing recommendations so that the parish government and travel agencies can generate alliances with the different tourism stakeholders. |
