Diagnóstico y propuesta de un manual de procesos y procedimientos para la unidad educativa “Juan Montalvo” de la parroquia San Roque cantón Shushufindi para el año 2015

This research work aimed to diagnose and propose a manual administrative processes and procedures, to the Education Unit "Juan Montalvo" San Roque Parish Shushufindi Canton 2015, which is necessary and important to provide better customer internal and external users as well as for the prestige and the emergence of the same, since it is a document that serves as a communication and coordination, allowing, record and transmit in an orderly and systematic processes and procedures of the school. To carry out this research, the following methodology was used mainly as a research resource the scientific method, which allowed collecting all the information necessary for supporting the framework, further inductive and deductive methods was also applied by its characteristic analysis was used of facts. To fulfill the objectives initially an interview addressed to the Rector of the Education Unit Juan Montalvo, with this research instrument was raised it was possible to obtain information on the need to have a Process and Procedures Manual. Additionally, a Directed Teaching Personnel, Administrative and Parent Education Unit Juan Montalvo, in order to obtain more specific information on the processes and procedures that take effect within the Education Unit, survey and that the change was made give as to the quality of educational services implementing the Process and Procedures Manual. Analysis and tabulation of results, allowed knowing the need for a manual of processes and procedures for the Education Unit Juan Montalvo. With all the information collected and exposed above the Process and Procedures Manual was developed, according to the needs and services provided by the Education Unit. The conclusions reached were: The educational unit Juan Montalvo, do not have a well-defined organizational structure; There is some ignorance and confusion over roles and responsibilities as it shall meet every human talent working in the educational unit, because they have shared responsibilities; It was achieved meet the objectives: to design the Process and Procedures Manual and put it in consideration of the school Juan Montalvo. The recommendations made are: the applicability Manual processes and procedures to ensure that they are really useful in the Education Unit, in order to streamline the administrative processes and a more efficient organizational structure; Encourage the use of manual processes and procedures among staff that make up the unit for it to be fully explored and avoid duplication of functions. In the Processes and Procedures Manual chronologically detailed the main activities of the educational institution, indicating the objective, scope, definitions, general aspects and main control measures, performance indicators and efficiency, responsibility and description of activities each process, with its own flow chart of the procedure.
