| Итог: | Language is the innate human beings’ ability, it enables them to communicate, express their emotions, needs and feelings; on the other hand, literacy is key in the teaching- learning process, because it develops personal skills such as writing and reading, which permit each person to acquire new knowledge and a holistic development. Language is directly linked to the reading and writing process, so it is important to pay close attention to its development; and that is why the present research paper was conducted, which aimed to analyse the development of language in the literacy of students; we selected as sample population the fifth year class from primary school Antonio Ricaurte, resulting in a total of 7 students and 1 teacher. This research was of a qualitative approach, descriptive type with an experimental design and cross-curricular, also we applied the scientific, inductive and analytical methods; the techniques used were the interview and observation. The results evidenced some language development problems, such as limited vocabulary, difficulty in communicating desires, feelings and emotions, and even some difficulties were identified in the reading and writing process. In conclusion, the students present significant difficulties in the language development and the reading and writing process, making it necessary the application of educational strategies for the integral development of language to enrich the vocabulary, and improve the expression and comprehension skills, improve the reading and writing competence, as well as to promote a more effective communication in the students. |
