| Riassunto: | Leptospirosis is a serious and not very common infection that happens when one enters in contact with the bacteria Leptospiras, being a zoonosis distributed in the entire world. The bacteria Leptospiras can be in sweet waters that have been contaminated by the urine of animals. The illness in the human beings varies of light to lethal. The present study is of descriptive type, of traverse court, the data were obtained by means of the realization of a personal survey to determine the factors of risk. The population is constituted by the patients assisted in the hospital of suspicious Yantzaza of Leptospirosis. The suspicious patients of Leptospirosis were 40 of those which 14 were confirmed with the illness constituting 35%, in their entirety those most affected ones were of the masculine sex with 100% and with an age average from 20 to 49 years with 42,85%. Inside the factors of risk most of the patients affirm that they were not in contact with polluted people of Leptospirosis with 64,28%. The patients that are in contact with animals of upbringing in 35,71% and with domestic animals with 71,42%, regarding the presence of rats inside the homes most denied the presence of these rodents in their homes with 57,14% while 28,57% accepts the presence of rats inside its homes, the toilet of its homes carries out it to newspaper in 71,42%, they live an an Urban area 50,00%, most of those interviewed consumes drinkable water in 50,00%.
