Achoimre:Financial knowledge is of great importance in the population, especially for adolescents, for it enables improving the quality of life; therefore, they must learn about the correct management of personal finances that they will apply in the future in their working life. Therefore, we based the present research paperwork on evaluating the relationship between the level of financial knowledge and age in young people in the educational institutions of the fiscomisional system. We developed a descriptive, correlational, and exploratory study using a survey based on the PISA test (Program for International Student Assessment). We applied it to 213 students. The result was that students are in Level 3 of financial knowledge with 59.87 %, which indicates that they can apply their financial knowledge in their working life, 87 %, which demonstrates that they can apply their understanding of financial concepts and commonly used products to situations that are relevant to them. In the same way, we characterized financial knowledge and determined that there is no relationship between the two variables under study, obtaining a negative inverse correlation of -0.108. Finally, we concluded that we should improve financial knowledge in the population, especially adolescents who are in a stage of constant learning and study, through financial education, which allows improving their financial skills.
