Sumari:With the increasing implementation of digital technologies, a variety of new tools have emerged to improve educational quality, especially in subjects such as Physics that requires experimentation to understand the phenomena of study. However, in certain educational institutions teachers do not incorporate these resources for the training of the student. Therefore, in this paper aims to analyze the relationship that exists between the PhET simulator and the learning of electricity and magnetism in students of Unified General Baccalaureate, the research had a qualitative approach, due to the fact that a documentary study was carried out with non-experimental design and exploratory-descriptive level. 20 papers were obtained that highlight the relationship between the conceptual categories of the topic, which highlight the significant contribution of this tool. Finally, it was concluded that this resource and the learning of electricity and magnetism are positively related, mainly the student shows greater motivation and better understanding of the topics; this implies that it is a good alternative as a didactic resource in case of not having an adequate laboratory or it is impossible to experiment directly. Keywords: educational software, didactic proposal, Physics, PhET simulator.
