San Pedro de la Bendita, is a parish of the Catamayo canton that has tourist attractions that contains a set of values, traditions, beliefs and modes of behavior that function as living elements within this society; Its tourist attractions are marked by many characteristics that make this parish unique and interesting, the varied nature, friendliness and cordiality of its people and its great religious faith, are the perfect complement to make this population an important place on the stage Tourism for that reason the importance of developing a research work that is aimed at providing better opportunities for economic development through tourism in order to improve the commercial activity and tourism of the Parish. To fulfill the objectives the following methods were used: analytical, that allowed for a thorough analysis of the current situation of each appeal and the state of basic needs that owns the parish, the synthetic method, a synthesis was performed the documentation that gave us the method previously developed by this method we rely for the inductive method that allowed us to conduct a study of the particularities of the tourist attractions and the parish as a sector of great tourist potential in the canton and province of Loja in order to determine the influence of the project on both social sector and economic, with the deductive method the respective conclusions and recommendations of the project was carried out based on the problem to be planted in the beginning the project with the aim of presenting technical solutions concerning tourism in the locality. In order to comply with the proposed objectives, the synthetic method was used, where Carla Ricaurte's matrix was made, the inventory, description, summary and specification sheets were used to establish attractions and other tourist support services. The georeferencing of the points plotted for the route whose purpose was to carry out the diagnosis and survey of information, was also used the analytical and iductive method in which the research that was performed was analyzed in detail to determine the particularities of each attraction and its incidence Economic and social in the present proposal, as well as prioritizing the influence on the project through the SWOT matrix could identify the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats once collected information became the SWOT that determined the strategies Of promotion proposed in the present work, and finally with the deductive method the conclusions and recommendations of the research work were obtained. Among the techniques that were used in the preparation of the project we are: this technique allowed us to in turn make the necessary interviews 5 entities involved in the project if it is true, that purpose is to link the community in developing it, with the information from interviews characterization of the parish who helped us to name the route that arises held this project, also the technique MARPP "Analysis Method Quick and participatory planning" that allowed us to make the socialization of the project to the different entities involved in the tourist route was used, this in order to inform the community and mainly the parish GAD that one way or another is closely linked to the project. As conclusions of the research carried out, the lack of tourist information on the attractions was discovered, the lack of support from the local authorities for a campaign to disseminate and promote the tourist resources of the community. The Tourist Route "Encounter with the History and Tradition of the South" proposed in this project will be used for the promotion and diffusion of the attractions and other tourist services that are part of the cultural wealth of the Parish. To know the tourist resources that San Pedro de la Bendita has, but also to generate new places of work both direct and indirect, as well as contribute to the tourist and commercial improvement of the community. Finally, it is recommended to San Pedro de la Bendita Parish GAD, to the Tourism Unit of the Municipality of Loja and to MINTUR de Catamayo, to hold training workshops to the private and public sector for the care and improvement of the tourist image that the community has, Likewise, it is recommended to the Parish GAD that the project be considered in its annual plan for its study and execution in such a way that the proposal is a cultural contribution for the community and that they are potentialized by means of campaigns of tourist diffusion of the resources that Owns the Parish with the purpose of strengthening them and possessing them as a tourist destination as well as the creation and development of projects linked to the tourist activity, whose purpose is the rescue of the tourist attractions. In addition, investing in campaigns of promotion and tourism diffusion aimed at Potentialize and possess the Parish as a tourist destination of Loja, Canton and Province.
