| সংক্ষিপ্ত: | The present research focuses on analyzing the influence of parental styles on the manifestation of disruptive behaviors in seventh-grade students at Dr. Modesto Chávez Franco School, located in the Torata parish. To conduct this study, the participation of 22 students and their respective guardians was involved. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining qualitative and quantitative data, as well as inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods, with an exploratory and explanatory-descriptive nature. The instruments used included a parental styles test for parents and the SPECI test, designed to collect information on the aforementioned variables. Additionally, a focus group was conducted with the children to gain a more precise view of their parents' parenting styles. The results indicate that the primary parental styles used by the parents are permissive and authoritarian, suggesting that most families consider permissiveness and physical punishment as the best parenting methods for their children. Regarding disruptive behaviors, the findings reveal that the majority of the children do exhibit behaviors that threaten to disrupt the harmony of their environment. |
