Monteros IESS city of Loja, 2015 period and propose a psychoeducational mental health plan aimed at this social group, four specific objectives: Identify the degree of overload present in caregivers of patients with Alzheimer's dementia; investigate risk factors that increase the degree of overload; specifying levels of anxiety present in caregivers; develop a plan of psychoeducation. The research was descriptive character, with quantitative and qualitative approach. That is to say the sampling was stratified random applied, the sample was distributed taking into account the weight percentage of the number of patients with Alzheimer kind in each territorial constituency and every district that is confirmed dementia. Segmenting the sample size for districts of the city of Loja, It was distributed as follows: 10 cases to 20 cases 1 and constituency to constituency 2. For data collection was applied carers to inventory Zarit Overload. To determine the degree of overload and risk factors, the rating scale Max Hamilton in order to know the levels of anxiety of caregivers of patients with Alzheimer's dementia. Among the most relevant results, we can conclude that the economic consequences limitation, lack of awareness of Alzheimer's disease produce intense overload in the primary caregivers and moderate levels of anxiety of psychic activities which affect their medical health and the family system and the environment in which the patient develops the disease mentioned.
