Sumario:In the present work it was evaluated the efficacy of an anti-myiasis cicatrizing paste consisting of cypermetrine, dichlorvos and silver sulfadiazine (paste) in bovines located in Yamba Alto in Rumishitana, Malacatos – Loja. Twenty individuals for meat purpose, crossbred (Holstein, Brown swiss and Gyr), males and females of differences ages between neonates and 3 years, showing miasis wounds, were organized into 4 experimental groups, each of them consisting of 5 repetitions. Four treatments were evaluated: T1= (0,5g/cm²), T2= (1g/cm²), T3= (1,5g/cm²) regarding the cicatrizing paste and T4= (Vaseline-control) by a completely random sample design. The Tukey test was applied to observe if there was a statically difference between means and only values ≤ 0.05 were considered as significant. After product application, it was evaluated the numbers of files, larvae present in the wound, and the number of days that wounds took the heal. Results showed that the product in paste presentation based on cypermetrine, dichlorvos and silver sulfadiazine was 100% in relation to anti-myiasis effect because after application the number of larvae decreased. Also, the product showed effective repellent activity against flies since after 30 minutes of application flies were not present. Furthermore, it was effective for cicatrization because wounds healed after three days pos product application. In conclusion, the paste product consisting of cypermetrine, dichlorvos and silver sulfadiazine (paste) in all concentrations were effective to heal myiasis wounds, in which the lower doses were (0,57cm²) for treatment of myiasis in bovines. Keywords: myiasis, cypermetrine, dichlorvos, silver sulfadiazine, bovines, antimicrobial, repellent, healing.
