Ամփոփում:Dermatophytes are a group of fungi that are interrelated, that have the ability to invade the keratinized tissues of the skin, hair and nails of man and animals, producing a disease called dermatophytosis. The disease is characterized by injuries that affect mainly the toenails (ONYCHOMYCOSIS), associated with different factors such as low speed of growth of the nail, the decrease in circulation around the nail plate. Care should be taken by all especially by Manicurists, wearing closed and narrow shoes and the presence of ringworm. Because of the conditions prevailing in our environment such as humidity, lack of hygiene, overcrowding; they appear in people of any age, race, sex, as well as any socio-economic and occupational environment. This research was intended to make: identification of the predominant Etiologic Agent in fingernails feet of ranchers in the town of Celica, likewise determine the sensitivity of direct examination against growing fungal in Agar Sabouraud and Agar Papa media; relate the identification of dermatophytes by culture in Agar Sabouraud with respect to growing Agar Papa. The study was descriptive, of cross-cutting, in which were collected 40 samples of nails of feet on cattle, which used methods and standardized protocols as the direct analysis with KOH to 20%, cultivation (Agar Sabouraud) and culture (Agar Papa). 37 (92%) positive samples was determined after the respective analysis: finding as main causative organism Trichophyton rubrum; with a sensitivity of 88% of the direct examination against the Agar Sabouraud and 83.3% against the Pope Agar; Trichophyton rubrum had a greater growth in the Agar Sabouraud 18 (81.80%), medium most used for dermatophytes isolation.
