Shrnutí:At the beginning of the milling process, the material was weighed and introduced into the ball mill along with a specified gradient and a specific percentage of water (1 material / I water ratio). Different milling times were established to perform size distribution analysis using the Rosin-Rammler method, which provided information where P80 was 80% of the milled material passing. In addition, a noise measurement test was conducted, revealing that the equipment should be located in an enclosed room or an isolated area due to the acoustic contamination it generates. It is recommended to use earplugs and a mask as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The results obtained indicate that the mill may reach a satisfactory grinding efficiency in two hours. However, it is advised to use a broader media size gradient and ensure strict quality control process and guarantee the caliber of the output. These measures will help improve the durability, efficiency, and consistency of the grinding process, which will positively impact the university laboratory as well contributing to economic and professional development in the mining sector.
