| Izvleček: | By the importance that still more has White Blood Cells within our organism and the necessity to count on referential values for our city, I take place a descriptive study, to obtain referential values of White Blood Cells count in the feminine student population of the fiscal schools of Loja city, in ages between the 12 to 19 years, in which the sample to study was of 472 students, taking into account criteria of inclusion and exclusion. The analyses were process in the Diagnosis Center Lab in the Health Human Area of the National University of Loja; using automatic equipment (MYNDRAY BC 3200 y STAT FAX 3200) and methods standardized previously, executing a pilot test in 20 people obtaining optimum results. The obtained results were entered the data base, to carry out the tabulation in the statistical program EPI-INFO 6, from which an average of 6,800 leukocytes by mm3 and like referential values of 4,300 to 9,300 leukocytes by mm3 for the feminine student population of the fiscal schools of Loja city. The results spread to the directors of the high schools, students, educational and university community in the field of the health, by means of the socialization of styles. The obtained referential values of White Blood Cells will be useful to the institutions and professionals who are within the environment of the health this lets to make a better diagnosis of the hematological analyses of the blood, improving the state of health of the Lojan population. |
