Ամփոփում:The present work of curricular integration was carried out with the objective to improve the visual - motor coordination through a program of teaching basic musical rhythms that included: exercises for coordination, basic musical rhythms, dynamic activities with children in the Sports Training School of the National University of Loja, 2023 (Escuela de Formación Deportiva de la Universidad Nacional de Loja, 2023). Based on this, two variables were established to analyze: the visual -motor coordination and the basic musical rhythms. It was combined research, of correlational type and quasi- experimental design, with the support of inductive and deductive methods. Different diagnostic tools were applied, such as observation sheets and tests to a sample of 15 children. These tools permitted to measure the level of incidence of the development of visual-motor coordination, with scores of low and regular. Taking into account these results, it was designed and applied a pedagogic proposal based on basic musical rhythms, which was structured in 10 weeks of classes with rhythmic activities focused on the improvement of visual-motor coordination. Next, some control instruments were applied to observe the improvement of the visual-motor coordination, to the point to place it into the valuation indicators as good and excellent. It is concluded that before the application of the didactic proposal, the absence of visual-motor coordination was evident; however, after the application of the basic musical rhythms for the improvement in the development of visual- motor coordination through the application of the post-test, it was demonstrated a notorious advance in this necessity, evidencing that the basic musical rhythms are effective for the development of visual-motor coordination in children of the Sports Training School of the National University of Loja, 2023.
