Ամփոփում:This research work, entitled “Organizational and functional design for the company “INFACORAUTO S.A.” from the Huaquillas Canton, Province of El Oro”, is aiming to design an organizational and functional structure for the company INFACORAUTO S.A. based on its particular needs and with the purpose of stating responsibilities and links between the different positions. The research was exploratory, descriptive, cross-sectional and non-experimental in design. The methods used were inductive, deductive, analytical-synthetic and qualitative. The techniques were based on bibliographic data collection, observation, interview and the use of a tool known as Porter's Diamond. The situational analysis’s results showed that the company does not have a well-defined organizational design, which is evidenced by unawareness and lack of business philosophy, strategic objective planning, organization charts and manuals, as well as a non-shared business identity, undefined functions and execution of tasks without a clear, defined and standardized process. Based on these results, the proposal was developed for an organizational and functional design, which will serve as a solid guide for a more collaborative work environment aimed at meeting objectives, for the delimitation of job positions and their dependency connection, the awareness of the functions in each job position and the correct development of operations to optimize resources and time.
